We are looking for a full time administrator/ customer care specialist to work within our busy Support Team that interfaces with our clients, our suppliers and our Account Managers. There is a fair amount of customer services work involved in the role although compared to traditional customer service work, telephone calls represent a lesser proportion of the overall time (e.g. you may handle perhaps 15 - 20 calls per day).
You will be joining an existing team of 11 people managing our client's mobile and fixed line transfers and the associated administration, which includes mobile phone repairs, contract completion, customer queries on their handsets and mobile phone accounts and bills.
The role is highly varied, challenging, requires you take on early responsibility and to be hard working, energised and efficient by nature. There is plenty of telephone work, emailing, interaction with clients and colleagues. Team work is essential as well as the ability to work independently. The hours are Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 5.30 and Fridays 8.30 – 4.15. No weekend work is ever required.
The person we are looking for
You will be confident and friendly on the telephone making and receiving some calls and happy to use email. You would be able to take on responsibility fast and a fairly quick learner for a busy, enjoyable and varied role. You will be a good communicator and have a desire to better yourself. You would ideally have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word though this is not essential.
It is quite possible that you feel undervalued by your current employer and/ or are looking for fresh challenges, a livelier work environment and/ or wish to take on more responsibility and more involved work.
