Vodafone partners with London North West Healthcare NHS Trust to mobilise district nursing teams

To create a truly mobile healthcare team, 245 nursing staff have been equipped with mobile devices that will enable greater care for people in the community.Accessing information using Vodafone’s data network, the new system ensures that the most up-to-date patient information is displayed and provides a greater standard of care.

Implementing the roll out of mobile devices such as tablets to replace traditional paper systems will not only aid accessing the most up to date patient information, but is expected to also reduce the time taken in administrative tasks, travelling, and ultimately result in a substantial increase in productivity.

Shelly Roberts, Project Manager – Mobile Working, London North West Healthcare NHS said, “Mobile working provides an opportunity to modernise and develop more streamlined services, making better use of valuable resources.”
