O2’s 4G Network is live in Northern Ireland

Superfast mobile connectivity is now available in Belfast and Lisburn after a £15Million investment.

O2 has also maintained and upgraded the existing infrastructure which is set to improve service for 2G and 3G users as part of the 4G upgrade programme which started in August 2013. The network now covers over 200 towns and cities in the UK, reaching more than 21 million people – over a third of the country’s population. O2 expects to achieve 98 per cent coverage by 2017.
