Northampton, Cambridge, Dundee amongst others now have 4G on O2!

O2 extends 4G coverage to Northampton, Cambridge and Dundee amongst others
O2’s 4G network now covers 357 towns and cities and currently has 47% indoor population coverage and over 58% outdoor population coverage. The company announced a £1.5 billion investment in its network to take place over the next three years which will include the ongoing modernisation of existing 2G and 3G networks as well as continuing the roll-out of its 4G network. O2 made a commitment to the regulatory body that it would achieve 98% of UK population coverage by 2017 and – hopes to meet this target ahead of the 2017 regulatory requirement.
Cellular Solutions managing director Damian Mottram welcomed the announcement: “We have many customers benefitting from 4G coverage which helps their businesses to be efficient wherever their staff are. As 4G rolls our across the country we are excited to help more companies to benefit from the cutting edge digital technologies we support such as the cloud based productivity solution Microsoft Office 365”.
