HD Voice Calls has been launched for all Vodafone Customers with Compatible Devices.
‘Exceptionally clear’ phone calls between Vodafone customers are the latest step in Vodafone’s campaign to improve and expand their services across the UK.
Routing calls through the 3G Network and connecting through the internet, Vodafone claims that HD Voice offers even clearer conversations and, by filtering out ambient and background noise, makes it easier to hear other people on the phone. This will work for all Vodafone customers including those on 4G.
Fergal Kelly, Vodafone UK Technology Director said, “Our HD Voice brings our best call quality to our customers. It is another important step towards our commitment to deliver our strongest ever network to the UK.” So long as you have a compatible device then you need not do anything to activate it – your phone will automatically switch to the HD Voice when you are in range of Vodafone’s 3G network and all calls will be charged at the normal call rate. HD Voice is a project in conjunction with Vodafone’s 4G rolloutand forms part of a £1billion pound investment to radically improve the network and services offered by 2014.
