On the 25th of September Cellular Solutions joined in with the world’s biggest coffee morning raising £235.66 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In a unique collaboration, the NSPCC and O2 have launched a new online safety helpline aimed in supporting adults in gaining the skills they need to keep children safe online.
Whilst many where basking in the sunshine enjoying their well earned rest from the working week, ten colleagues from cellular solutions completed their 265km charity bike ride by cycling into the historic town of Poitiers.
Starting on 3rd June, eleven colleagues from cellular solutions will embark upon the most ambitious leg of the charity bike ride to the south of France yet attempted. Covering a staggering 260km in three days (which is almost the same as three back to back London to Brighton’s) they start in Orleans Thursday, facing a gruelling 70mile first day they finish eventually on Saturday in Poitiers.
Last week ten Cellular Solutions staff volunteered to donate a day’s labour for the Chestnut Tree House Hospice and what a labour of love it was. The task was to clear the main drainage ditch that runs just outside of the grounds. This work was particularly essential, as the Chestnut Tree House is separate from the mains system and onsite drainage is top priority to prevent flooding.
Cellular Solutions very own baking challenge raises £176.46 for charity.
Only one baker could rise to be the winner in the Cellular Solutions bake off and competition was hot! Eight budding bakers competed, not only for bragging rights as Cellular Solutions’ bake off winner 2015, but to raise money for Kevin’s Brain Cancer Treatment Fund.
