All in all it has been a really most unusual and challenging past eighteen months or so, for the vast majority of businesses as well as for people generally. I hope that in some way or other, we have been able to at least make a small positive difference, to help with that burden, however that may be, to you personally or to your business. Whether that has been supporting you for mobile or fixed communications, or simply a nice chat and great service from a member of our team.
Last month marked twenty two years since we opened our doors and certainly when we started, we had clear aims and objectives. One of these was to give back in different ways to our communities around us.
We started with just 4 personnel and have of course since then grown significantly to 40 staff. I am delighted that we have such a committed, capable and service oriented team of wonderful people to work with. We have been fortunate to operate in a great industry and ultimately we are always working to help you communicate better with your customers, employees, suppliers and partners; helping you be more effective as a business whilst also saving money.
In September this year we had planned to complete the last leg of our charity project, ‘Cycle to the South of France’. Heading over the Pyrenees (foothills anyway ….) and dip our toes into the Med. Very many of our customers have supported this effort in many different ways right back to 2011 when we set off on the first of our bi-annual cycling trips.
We have aimed to raise £1/4 million in total, for many deserving causes, but especially focused on the hospices in our area of service. None of us at Cellular are especially into our cycling so the effort for most tends to be immense. Unfortunately, the logistics with Covid and international travel were simply too involved and complex and so we had to postpone. The plan now is to complete the event in June 2022.
I wish also to note that should you, a close colleague or your business, ever be partaking in a charitable cause or event and looking for support donations, please do feel welcome to approach your Account Manager at Cellular Solutions. Just provide us with some brief details and in very many instances we shall look to support with an online donation. Charities are generally so very pressed in these recent months.
It is still a little while off, but I’d like to wish you as smooth a run in to Christmas as possible and again, thank you for your continued business and support.
