Charity cycle ride from Hove to Paris

For those who don’t know, the 8th of June 2011 was the beginning of a journey for 8 members of Cellular Solutions staff. It was the day they embarked on a 200 kilometre charity cycle ride from Hove to Paris.

For those who don’t know, the 8^th of June 2011 was the beginning of a journey for 8 members of Cellular Solutions staff.  It was the day they embarked on a 200 kilometre charity cycle ride from Hove to Paris.

They battled wind, rain, and hills and made it to France where the hard work really started! 

We have held similar events before in June of 2009 and 2007, cycling from Shoreham to Guildford and back again and were able to raise a staggering £50,000 for various charities throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire from both events.  This time around the event was sponsored by Vodafone, we are well on track to raise well over £25,000 again, taking the total to over £75,000 – not bad for a medium sized business.  The money will be divided between 12 charities whose work ranges from caring for sick babies, looking after children with multiple disabilities and caring for children and adults who are terminally ill in the UK to Sightsavers International who undertake the majority of their good work in the Third World.
