Charity Bike Ride

July 24th was a momentous day for the staff of Cellular Solutions mobile dealership a Vodafone Premier and O2 Direct partner, when they endured an 80 mile bike ride from the coast of Shoreham to Guildford and back again.

13 bikes, 80 miles and a huge challenge!

July 24th was a momentous day for the staff of Cellular Solutions mobile dealership a Vodafone Premier and O2 Direct partner, when they endured an 80 mile bike ride from the coast of Shoreham to Guildford and back again.

The team have held the event before in June of 2007 with it sponsored by O2 and managed to raise a staggering £25,000 for various charities throughout Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.  This time around, the event was sponsored by Vodafone and they are on track to raise over £25,000 again, taking the total to over £50,000 – not bad for a small business.  The money will be divided between 12 charities whose work ranges from caring for sick babies, looking after children with multiple disabilities and caring for children and adults who are terminally ill.

Damian Mottram, Managing Director of Cellular Solutions said:

“It has been a real challenge for the staff but their dedication and commitment to the cause was second to none. The event has been even more successful than in 2007.  I am extremely proud of what has been achieved for such worthwhile causes.”

Donations were gratefully received from friends and families of the participants as well as clients and suppliers of Cellular Solutions.
